![]() So if the phones and workstations share the same cable how would I best go through setting the phones on one subnet and vlan and the workstations on another using the same cable? I know, not the best idea but the customer cannot afford more drops. There is only one cat6 cable going to each workstation, the VOIP phones serve as a switch between the wall and the pc so the pc connection runs to the phone and then to the PC. ![]() They have a Firewall-Router unit that run Kerio control as thier firewall and it also serves as the edge router for the network, it also supports vlans so I am covered there.ġ92.168.10.0 Network for Production i.e workstations-servers-printers Vlan 10ġ92.168.30.0 Network for VOIP phones and servers. I have a client that has about a 50 user network, with wireless, voip phones, printers, servers, workstations and am considering doing vlan's for them. ![]() I think I have that down pat and have done it on my own lab network here at the office. I am just getting into Vlan's and confguring Cisco Switches-Netgear-Linksys switches. ![]()
